Higher Ground is seeking an experienced Managing Producer to oversee daily production on a slate of weekly and limited podcasts. The Managing Producer will work closely with the teams of each show to implement production schedules, track weekly deliverables, and ensure a smooth overall workflow for all teams.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, management experience in a production environment, and proven success working with large teams and outside partners. They will have an eagerness to tackle production challenges and work to foster an environment where creative work can flourish.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with the creative lead for each team to setup and maintain a production workflow
Work closely with the production team to manage resourcing for each show, thinking strategically about how production staff can be split across shows on the slate
Organize, maintain, and track a production schedule across the entire slate of shows
Develop and maintain relationships with production, advertisers, and distribution partners
Work with all departments (production, business, marketing, etc) to ensure smooth handoff of all deliverables, and that all obligations are met.
Collect and organize marketing, art, and legal assets for shows, as-needed
Manage creative feedback from internal and external stakeholders
Build and maintain internal systems to facilitate quick and easy delivery of media assets
Think proactively and strategically about the production team’s staffing and efficiencies.
Track and organize show budgets.
Coordinate with the production team on the final upload of all podcasts, ads and promos
Track advertising obligations across the entire show slate to ensure goals are being met.
Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to recognize inefficiencies in a production process and take the initiative to improve them them
Clear and effective communication skills
Experience working across multiple shows and projects simultaneously
Understanding of the production process and workflows.
Proven experience managing projects, teams, and workflows
Experience with audio and video editing software is a plus.
Experience with AirTable and Google Suite are a major plus
The ability to work collaboratively and maintain relationships with partner organizations and production stakeholders
Experience working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
